Not really a surprise about the insignias, any comments about the cap itself is welcome!

Caps aren't my area so I'll defer to others on the cap itself, however I would question why the sweat diamond has been removed ... unless it was incriminating date-wise.

Did you check to see if there are any empty holes in the pasteboard where the pins of a Heer kokarde might have been attached?
