Iconic looking cap, the question is.....it is an original SS pre-1945 crusher?

I do have my concerns, but more precise and factual opinions from fellow members who have experience and have handle these type of headgear would be best for a final veredic in originality.

Damn fine saddle shape to it.. As said the insignia are nice.. But I'll not even pretend to speak knowingly of the base cap itself.. But it looks nice..
