It almost looks like it was made for the civilian market as it is not close to being original. With the maker stamp inside it might be a re-enactor cap, though hardly meant to fool anyone that it might be original.

Looks post war to me, too many things don't look right such as the stitching on the upper side of the visor, the buttons, the stitching of the button holes the stampings on the liner, and the fact that it looks un-worn.....I'd have to say, it's a repro. Pics of the inside of the flaps folded out would be interesting to see.
