That eagle application tho... Sloppy post war mend up IMO.

Yes, you can see on the cover, that the eagle had been torn from the fabric when attached this - is not known. Thanks!

Yes I see now. Thread looks pretty 'fluffy.'

I would consider reapplying it with wartime thread in a tidier manner as you see on some wartime examples.

But get more opinions here first obviously.
