            The visor doenst seems shorter as a heeres model...

                Ok thanks for the info.

                if the cap is original late war, is there any proof / documentarion that some gebirsjager caps where Equipped with a trapeze bevo?

                  I did receive the message from the seller that late war m43 caps, for gebirgs-jagers had the chance to get a trapeze bevo.....

                  Anyone more experience in this?

                  thanks

                      it s an original trapez probably postwar hand applied. but I dont see a reason why it should be to find on mountaintroops headgear.

                        correct,

                        that exactly my question.

                        let put it like this:
                        Are all gebirgs jager m43 caps provided with a T bevo.

                        Or

                        Like the seller tries to persuade me, that possible late m43 gebirgs jager caps also did had the change to end up with a trapeze bevo...

                        thanks

                          As for as I know GB hats don t have to have T shaped eagles but most had.
                          The trapez insignia shown and your cap is 99% postwar applied, wich brings me to the conclusion that the cap was denazifized after the war and was completd with a usuall trap when it came to collectors hands....

                            super..

                            thanks Buckliger for the clarification...

                            Now i can overthink the idea if i can take this cap in my collection
