    Luftwaffe Fire brigade cap??

    Hi Guys

    Could anyone help me out with this strange cap please? The base colour is blue/grey and it is very heavily worn. It has hand applied officers cord and the pink piping is IMO typical wartime and what I would expect to see. Colour and construction doesn't look like rebadged fire police M43 to me but I have been wrong before! Anyone seen an M43 like this before?

        Is it really blue grey , as i see it more black-grey,like an early
        post war firemen-Werkschutz cap ?
