My New Police Visor - from the woodwork

Gents, I recently obtained this Police visor along with a nice SD Army helmet from the vet's son. Both items had been just sitting in a closet for years. The visor was loaned out to a theater group and the vet's son taped his name inside the hat to ensure it would be returned. I am hesitant to try to remove it for fear of tearing the lining. It is getting harder to source good items from the woodwork - after all it has been 70 years. Rich

Agreed--you have a nice 1st model Feuerschutzpolizei NCO visor with the black band (the later ones had a brown band).

Great find--these are much more rare than regular Firemen visors....
