Excuse my ignorance but where do I go from here? I certainly do not profess to be a cloth cap expert. This one has been in a collection for over 40 years which I realize means little but for what it is worth. All I know is ALMOST all the items I am getting from this large collection have been good and selling fast on the forum and other places at fair prices. I am not trying to take advantage of anyone. Life is too short. Since it has not been totally put down can I now put it back for sale and reference this discussion? I am fairly new to the forum for selling so don't want to do something out of line. I have a lot of other items to list.

Let's try $295. Showed it to a couple additional "experts". They liked it and also thought it was a Flakhelferin cap and smaller size.

Never seen a cap like this in the LW ...?
Triangle was added , but when ?
For the female it should have been normally without the cockade .
It looks like a working cap more than a real LW cap ?
1941 dated for a simplified M41 cut ?
For me a post war cap ...

I'm finding out it is much rarer than I thought. Not necessarily by forum comments but by others that know this stuff that have had their hands on. I am not here to take advantage of anyone so I have done some more due diligence from those I trust. So price increase to $495.
