    Salty DAK cap for review

Seller claims it was found in Italy. The bill has been crudely re-attached...
    Known maker?
    Why is it stamped M43???

Appears to be an original cap that has been abused. M-43 is a depot code (Munchen '43) not a model designation.

Oh I see, yes depot marking!! That makes much more sense ! I thought the cap looked promising! Bill is fixable for sure!

Nice cap Nick. The repair could have been period done.
I don't think someone today would do such a sloppy and ugly job just to sell it as complete.
If the price is right i would go for it.

Despite the antichrist number it sold for a good price. I wish i had seen it at ebay
