Here's a neat woman's or child's cap, apparently a "civil" type of cold weather / ski cap, with what appears to be a period 1938-39 "Lehrgang" (course / seminar) badge mounted to the front. The badge was attached via brown thread loops around each ski. The center-most design, is, of course, the DAF cogwheel / swastika device. The cap is blue-gray wool, with an off white "piping" of sorts, which culminates in the front below the DAF / SKI device, in a white bow. I'm not sure if this would've been worn by a woman, young boy or a girl, however it shows a good amount of period wear and age. I'm assuming it was meant for a woman or a child, simply due to its rather diminutive size. As I have to assume that it was simply put together back in the day and NOT any kind of "para military" headgear, I figured I could put it up for some commentary as I feel it's a pretty neat item.
