It is always interesting when someone (in this case a dealer) comes here and asks for opinions, then adds insignia and repairs the item with NO mention of it in the sales description. http://www.royal-dragons.fr/fiche-ve...1942-2075.html

The description reads.... "Mountain Regulatory Cap Miss 1936 feldgrau sheet. Eyelets zinc, leather headband inside, leather visor covered cloth, Bevo Eagle T MDLE 36/40, edelweiss zinc. Marked dated 1942. Very good condition size 56 REf 2820"

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

          A 'rogue'.

The item has been 'dicked with', so the sales description is a misrepresentation.

Innocent? Hardly, given the way it looked only a short time ago.

          Negligent? It 'accidentally' got tarted-up?

There is only one other type of misrepresentation known in the law ....................

and with almost 1000 euros added to the price.

I guess the answer is there.
