    My Latest Addition

Nothing too special.....but I do find the construction technique of the Stirndruckfrei System very elaborate.

            Chris,

I think it's an amazing piece of craftsmanship.

The sweatband sits almost 3/4 of an inch away from the Vulcan fiber and there is nothing in between this 3/4 inch space. I have never seen another cap like this one.

I haven't seen one like it before, either. Impressive cap.

Mark--I have seen other hats made by Luscha , but they were field-used, and yours is the first unissued example I have seen. I have to believe they would have been very comfortable to wear!

                      Very interesting.
Can we see a picture from unter the sweatband?

I'll get some pics from under the hood posted shortly.

It was a delicate process to pull the sweatband down as much of the stitching on the front part of the band is missing.

In these two photos, you can see the metal prongs that secure the wool Stirndruckfrei material to the cap.
