ARTY Visor Help??

I bought this from a forum member a couple years ago. He told me it was WW2 era and that it had been checked out by this forum. I cant seem to find anything about it so thought I would put it up again before I sell it. Better to be safe than sorry. It a arty Visor doe skin hat. It has the Grey interior. With owners Initials on the band. Am I correct when saying the Grey was used late war? Thanks for any help.

i dont think gray was only used late war and i realy like your cap,and very nice one!

Very nice private purchase EM-Nco visor cap, from a Peküro distributor. A lot of cap maker used the light gray silk lining all over the war.
