Very nice visor with two minor flaws, a mark over the eagle's right wing . Today I tried to gently lift the sweat band looking for a date, and of course it tore. No moth damage, the eagle and wreath match well.

from the colour of the piping I would say that this is not medical but TSD

However, I would agree with the above--it appears to be Truppensonderdienst (TSD).

Thank you, the cap came from the RD . At the time of my selection other versions were available, I made a fast decision as the visor was priced fairly. And it's condition fell in to the area of items that I buy, nearly mint or a couple of flaws that I can live with.
