    Thanks to all. Well, the fact is that I obtained this hat from a rags depot in Prato (near Florence) at the end of the 60's, where it was possible, at that time and for all the 70's to obtain nice and original German WWII clothing among common and civilian dresses collected in big boxes, imported directly from Germany and other countries. All the Italian collectors know that. Now that I know Tutlingen and Tuttlingen are the same town, I'm quite sure the hat is good of the time.PaoloM
