Are the Original ? What dos the Stamp say to me? Thos the M44 mean 1944?

this is nicely to heard, how used this Cap ?
Is it for Winter equipment, because it is somewhat thick Matterial and White inside?

its a sumpftarn (type of camo pattern) hood as used with the sumpftarn jacket these were used in the russian front nice original

its what we call a reversable hood in that you can turn it inside out and use the white backing for camo in stead of the marsh camo
