Thank you so much guys,your comments make my heart warm,and Stonemint ,you make me feel so proud to own that cap now. I bought it in Ciney military show. The seller was a collector and not a dealer,the price was around 1200 $

Caps for the two Leib Husaren regiments are quite scarce, I would think, and command a premium to other hussar regiments, and other Imperial cavalry in general, save the Garde du Corps, Garde Kuraissiers, and Garde Husaren.
The three line hussar regiments that command a premium are the two Leib Husaren, and Brunswick nr.17, all with the totenkopf!
As to the price, it seems a bit high to me, but not excessively so. IMHO, $1,000 or so is more realistic, but, I may be wrong.
You have a great cap, and the price is unlikely to decrease over the years.

Philippe, one of the tough things about these is determining if the skull is period (ie, Kaiserreich), or TR (part of the Berlin hoard).
You may want to post on the Imperial forum for an answer to that question, but the hat itself is real.

I confirm . WW2 quality skull very often found in Europe
as a spare part as a big box of them came out years ago .

How is it possible to determinate if it is WW2 or WW1 skull? And how rare is a WW1 skull?

Quality of metal and print !
Let's say brass nickeled for WW1 with a finer design .
A WW1 one is rarer than a WW2 one but you may find it also .
They are very often sold as early WW2 type !
