            Like said by everyone, great find congrats! The condition of the hatbox is the most impressive aspect of the grouping too me.

            As for the shape of the hat being stored on its crown, I keep all of my visors in that position and have for 40 years. Every military man should know (at least they were once taught) that is the way the visor cap should be stored and even sat down when not in wear.
