Has a Statni movie studio ink stamp blotted out...that could have been a good sign but its still a theatrical piece based on its shape...
Looks Russian made based on the crown shape!
Too bad...sometimes Statni marked headgear is good...(their M43's are often good left over WW2 ones!)Attached Files

The skull appears to be the original, unmarked type which is often mistaken for a Deschler but it has the 'Hollywood film star' look teeth instead. That is not to contradict my learned colleagues as to the actual cap itself of which I know nothing.
A straight on, detailed shot of the insignia would of course help.
Cheers, Ian.

It would also help to see some close-ups of the velvet band in natural light. Especially where it joins and meets the white piping. My gut says no and my initial feeling is the same as stonemint's (best scenario a rebuilt foreign made WH visor) but we are always learning. I believe I have seen that logo before on a Civil visor, so while at it, you could also include some pics of under the sweatband... Kurt
