IMO I think 2900 for this cap is priced very fairly to both seller and potential buyer. If I'm not mistaken it looks like a frankenstein which are always disirable.
Once reshaped on a head this will display beautifully!

One last word: the seller was suggesting that the 'sweet spot' for sale was perhaps 1500. There was never a firm offer of that amount to which I agreed. I just wanted to clear that much up.
