Hello,
My name is Ron I am new to the forum. I mostly collect American items, but I am currently on vacation in Germany and I hope this an opportunity to expand my meager TR collection.
Anyways, in an antique shop in Augsburg I found a Luftwaffe Officer's M43 that I believe to be fake. From my research on this forum, I think this is a 70's or 80's Janke. The liner is of similar construction and markings as the one in the link below including blue ink, the only differences is a size of 59 and a date of 1943.

The hat is made of a blue twill fabric, the eagle looks to be hand stitch to the cap, with large thread and widely spaced stitching. The cockade and eagle are two separate pieces. I have pictures of the liner markings, but I have yet to figure out how to post pictures. Please give me your opinions.
Thank you in advance for your expertise,
Ron
