I am just curious if this visor is legit and what type it is?
Looks like it used to have a totenkopf.

It is definitely not a TR period cap. It may be some type of postwar cap that has been humped up to resemble an SS cap, or it may just be a very poor ground-up fake.

Some people think that used cap have more chances to be original
as mint caps ...
