Thank you Glenn.
I don't think that eagle is replaced but opinon are opinion.
For sure the seams are uneven,but in time of war they did not think to precision.

To me the insignia looks hand sewn to replicate machine sewing and I also would not expect it to be applied in a trapazoid (like a standard M43 hat)
