    crusher artillery?

Before selling this crusher, I wanted to run it by you crusherlovers.
Can you tell me if this waffenfarbe is artillery? And can you tell the maker by the vage stamp?

    Thanks in advance,

    Emiel

I was just wondering if the waffenfarbe could be signals instead? Anyone?

Looks orange to me, second guess, If you see any yellow, would be goldyellow for cavalry. J

Liner claims the hat to be "sterndruckfrei". I see no indication of it on this hat.
Anyone have any thoughts on this.
The piping looks orange to me.

I would need a hands on inspection to be comfortable with this cap. If it is good it's certainly a very desirable waffenfarbe for a crusher.

Thanks guys. Orange it is I guess. But the pictures were taken in braod daylight. Sterndruckfrei? What does that mean and what can I provide to you so you can make a better judgement? Regards, Emiel

A major problem is that it has a Pekuro font, indicating "Stirndruckfrei", meaning it should have their patented forehead cushion system, which is a strip of black velvet that goes around the circumference of the sweatband.

Also, it appears that the lining on the side is a muslin, and not a rayon.

                The hat has issues.

Many makers used "Stirndruckfrei" and I thought it implied the "perforated" forehead area of the sweatband that is backed by the sponge inside. If Stirndruckfrei implied the "velour band" around the circumpherence then it is lacking on many makers isn't it? We need some clarification here, thanks!

Stirndruckfrei means "free of pressure on the forehead" .
I also saw many times this indication in caps with "certified origin",not
having this velvet or wool band added to the leather band ?
This is not a brand IMO but only a comfort qualification for a cap ?
Like Deutsche Qualität ,for example ?

Yes, I agree. The velour band, in my opinion, is just an upscale appointment used by certain makers like Peter Kupper, it has nothing to do with Stirndruckfrei as there are countless caps employing it that have no velour band.
From the pix of this crusher I still don't see the Stirndruckfrei being used and, being a crusher, it seems almost redundant as these are a semi rigid, rather soft cap....hence the moniker "crusher". Is there a shot behind the sweatband in front?.....if so, please post it. Thanks!

                          Robt.
PS....rechecking the pix posted I see there is one from behind the front of the sweatband. Its peculiar in that the usual front pad and a ventilated front portion to the sweatband are not seen on this piece.....

RGD51, I'd totally agree with you that there are several TR makers out there using a different "stirndruckfrei" than Peküro with the velour band.

With this maker, however, there yet has to show up an exception (not saying there weren't any). With Peküro you even see that they drop this feature in their later war caps and immediately, it's not advertised on their linings anymore. Sorry to say Niederlande, but unfortunately, this cap has more problems than this in my opinion... Kurt

Robert, Kurt and others, thank you for your assistance in regard this crusher.
As I wrote before it is not my cup of tea as I usually collect ss only. Give me a few days to provide the extra images as my camera is having problems. I will also post the same pics again, as I am now a paying member again.

                              Kind regards, Emiel

P.S.Needless to say that this one will not be offered for sale by me anymore
