                      I have one almost identical. I have it posted over on G.H.W.
                      These are far more scarce than the standard cap so I've been told.

                        Cap has all the footprints of this pre-May 45 maker in every way

                        Except for the material that the liner is made from. That is a "ribbed" rayon/ artificial silk/ satin that is usually only seen in officer caps or tunics.

                        Every other example of an EM/ NCO caps by this maker that I have seen has always had the regular "smooth" rayon/ artificial silk/ satin liner material.

                        Thus the type of liner material in this example is an interesting variation from the norm,
