A got a call from a guy who was cleaning out his deceased grandparent's house and found two trunks he'd never seen. They turned out to be his grandfather's WWII US 8th Infantry Division and TR caps, large banner, armband, sport shirt emblems, K98 bayonet and a couple more items.
His uniform and the caps have all been feasted on by insects for the last 70 years or so and the caps are crunch with damaged or missing visors.
I don't know what most of the caps are, except for the one I've labled "A," and on that one I'm not sure how to translate the unit info that seems to be writting inside the cap.
Any help on ID's would be very much appreciated.
