        just saw this thread.. When looking @ the orig photos you could tell it was a restorable cap. I have one almost identical.. It was missing the orig bird and the birds are pretty easy to find where the caps are not.. Buying visor caps without insignia cheap is an easy thing to do.. Metal insignia is easy to find as I said.
