I don't collect Schiffchens, so you will want to hear from someone who does. However, if it was me, I would hold out for a true officer's model (ie, not an EM/NCO upgrade), but that's just me.

Doesn't Kelly have a lifetime guarantee anyway?

I think you are missing the point, a few people by now had recommended that you pass on this cap. I would join them in this advice and recommend you keep looking.
