Mathieu--
The front seam on the band does not even line up with the seam on the peak. The hat was re-banded at some point--no way to prove it was done wartime. Hat will always be a hard sell.

Note that this has raw cardboard instead of treated pasteboard for the band stiffener. Not a good sign with regard to an color-piped SS visor.
