kudos for doing it right

I posted a thread here about 10 months ago detailing my experiences with two caps that turned out to be bogus. The caps were bought at the SOS two yearrs ago from forum members. I am happy to report that Chris Varrichio along with Tim Curley have resolved the outlined problem to my complete satisfaction. These two men acted honorably and with great integrity. I am convinced that neither man had any knowledge of the bogus nature of the caps. Again we all have to be careful and I appreciate the good will of these two collectors.

It is always satisfying to hear of such experiences as yours, Tony. Fortunately we have many fellow members whose integrity is above reproach such as Chris and Tim. My hope is that others will follow the example of these two gentlemen; sadly that has not always been the case.

I am glad to hear this was resolved and in such a fine fashion too, I myself would always stand behind any item I sold. I cannot imagine doing business any other way.

You are quite fortunate indeed. I met Tim through WAF over 10 years ago and seen him many times since. He is not only a great guy, he's quite a student of the hobby and an honorable man.
