        It is a nice un-issued tropical sidecap. Not DAK (never been to Afrika). Another found in the beehive cache...

          I know nothing about DAK hats .... which mark should be placed or, which feature should appear to know that it's a real DAK??

            Its a typical unissued sidecap, Intrestingly it looks like it has 2 size stamps 57 underneath the makers mark & 54 to the Right of that.. I would also take a closer look at the Eagle to make sure its not reapplied but i think its ok, Pic is not the clearest on that..

              Eagle is factory applied. CW has a very distinctive hand sewn eagle application.
