It is a good Marke Odd. Didn't someone just post this same hat recently?

I just bought it on E-stand. but have come to doubt the authenticity.

The cap is okay but it's an admin cap not a Gebirgsjäger.
Look to the upper holes! The eagle is replaced to fit the Edelweiss between.

The piping color for Gebirgjsäger is much lighter as on this one.
The color of this cap is perfect for admin, noway for a Gebirgsjäger!

What I see is also the dark green of admin and not the "emerald" green for Gebirgsjaeger. It appears to be a fine original visor in excellent condition.

IMHO the piping is beamte (admin) and not gebirgsjager. As steiner has pointed out, the eagle was most likely moved to accommodate the edelweiss pin. This is not to say that the hat itself is bad, in fact it is in nice condition.

Colours from pictures could be altered specially referring to the photo where the cap is upside down. The administration waffenfarbe is different!
But this is my opinion.
For Kennet when i return from my travel i am avaible for all.
