    Original M43 cap?

    Hello,
is it original M43 cap? If so, why the shade of the cloth seems to be brown?
I would appreciate all your answers!

Looks to be an Org. Todt M43 with a WH trap.

Below is an example made from the same sort of material with the Todt trap,

          original M 43 cap?

          Greetings
A mystery has been solved to me. I have a M 43 cap just like the one shown. I always wondered why it was a brownish color. The trap is also identical to the one shown. My question is that my cap does not have a size or makers mark stamped in the interior. Is this normal?
          Thank you for your time
          Steve

most of the marking fade away during the years of use and wear. regularlry issued stuff is marked. It would help to post a picture.

              Hello,
              I have two questions:
              1) Is true that all M43 original caps must have a internal sweat band under the lining in the frontal part of the cap? This band is quite visible in pics number 11 and 12 of Der Spiess cap because the lining is broken.
              2) Is true that all M43 original caps have the wool reinforcement sewn under the frontal buttons and buttonholes NOT made with the same wool folded back on itself but made with another piece of wool? In the pics number 6 we can see that the reinforcement is made with another piece of wool.

                1) Have seen a few real ones with no internal sweatband.

                2) Have seen many using the same type fabric.
