SS m43 cap for review

I stopped in an antique mall and found this cap with some other SS items (A cigarette case which looked promising but they were asking $500 for it ).

I apologize about the pictures but all I had was a cell phone and the lady didn't hold it as steady as I would have liked.

Anyway the hat has a lot of honest looking wear and some nips and repairs (of course that doesn't really mean anything as it could be a period or later Heer cap.)

If you can tell anything by these pictures let me know -- if a good cap I would pick it up to add to my meager SS items. Thanks gentlemen for your time and opinions.
