A bit unusual LW NCO summer visor

This cap differs a bit from other summer caps I have seen and I would enjoy a discussion on it. The condition is quite nice with a bit patina on the outside. What is new for my eyes is the material of the white top. The cloth structure is very fine, feels almost like silk. Also most unusual is the attachment of the storm band on one side. It looks nicely made but doesn´t of course make sense so I guess a temporary repair? The pictures show what I mean. The inside looks almost unissued but there is a stamp inside the leather which I can´t interpret (Technische Komn?). Maybe someone has ideas or has a similar cap in the collection?

    Cheers, Jack

I like it quite a bit. There are lots of luft permanent white tops that have been shown on the forum. I used to have a really nice one with a quality wool white top. This one has a nice early eagle to it. Matt

          Thanks afrikasandman,

I forgot to add that the top is removable. I haven´t taken it off yet because it fits perfectly.

          Cheers, Jack

Nice 1935ish cap. These early ones had the larger, floppy type removable tops.

                      Thanks for your comments gentlemen!

To round it up here a picture with the top removed in order to see the type of construction.

                      Cheers, Jack
