a friend of mine bout this visitor cap, at fleemarket some time ago, and he is not sure if the cap is original or fake, the person that sold him the item told that if it was not good he would get his money back.

So hope you guy`s can help.

Just going on the inside shot I'd bet quite a lot on this being an altered East German visor of some sort. No idea what they did to the outside, but one can still see the sweat diamond on the inside. And it looks like the visor is plastic as well...

the wreath and inside symbol is anyway post-war; the symbol for veterans after WWII.
