Crusher cap

Hi Gentleman,
i'd like to know what period of the '30's you would place my crusher cap.
It's produced by a well know maker 'Erel' with the classic romboidal logo.
It's configured with the very first model of insigna for this specified category of visor cap (white oak leaf sewn directly on the central band with metal cockade). My thought is that the eagle was sewn in a second time and the crusher was born without it. I would adding that the central band is not lined with the Feldgrau badge cloth but with the dark green bottle badge cloth which was ordered from september 1935 onwards...
I'm a bit confused because it has that nicely teller form of the first models (1934-'37) but, as i said, has the Erel logo which, if i'm not mistaken, Lubstein begun to put on the last part of the '30's.

Hi Kurt, thank you for your valuable answer. So Mr. Lubstein marked its products with it's own graphic logo already in that time..good for me!
In general, with the introduction of the newest 'side cap' for officers in the '38, it was estimated a wear out period for the crusher in the April '42. But for what reason it was wore until the end of the war ? The crusher you have there is EXTREMELY rare as it is the early type without the BeVo wreath. These are usually (not always) associated with NCO ranks, so the introduction of the officer's M38 side cap technically should not have had an influence on this type of crusher. By the time the wear-out date approached, I'd say that most of these NCO were either promoted to officers or dead.

Very interesting piece of history, textbook, by the most desired maker and in an ultra rare branch color. It doesn't get better than this ...

Which feature of this crusher does you think it was for NCO's?
As far i as know the very 1st insigna of this kind of cap was woven in white felt (as it is) and the NCO's wore only the side cap (mod.'34)...

Hi Kurt, BeVo wreat was introducted only in the October 1935, so i think that my crusher, althought subsequently born, for what kind of reason still was made with the very 1st kind of insigna for the Feldmütze für Offiziere.

I'm fascinated by the white wreath. Is it embroidery or applique? Also, the eagle is the style found on the early sidecaps I think. For sure the rosette is the early vulkan fiber backed one as well. All components tell the right story. The closest example I could find of this style in a reference book does appear in Saris vol. I p.48....wreath embroidered directly on cap band.

Officially discontinued April '42. Saris vol. I. Rommel can be seen wearing his in '42 and '43 and without doubt these caps were worn till wars end.

i think that is the date of stopped wearing and not of production although another order dated 10th July 1942 cancelled the previous and permitted to wore the obsolete clothing (like the Dienstrock, alter art crusher etc.) until the end of the war.
