    The neverending green waffenfarbe question

What many people don't think about is that these stuff where made in 1000's of different factory's and tailor shops all over Germany, and im sure if you asked one German at the time some of them would call this Jäger green and some would call it Gebirgsjäger green and some PzGren green, they for sure did not do it easy with changing colurs/shades for the different branches during the war years...

    *Example*
When "Leutnant Fritz" walkes in to the tailor shop to buy a new Schirmmütze,
Employee: Askes him what he is looking for
Leutnant: Im looking for a cap in size 57cm with the green colour piping,
Employee: Well we have these different materials and these shades of green, wich one do u like best?
Leutnant: I like this material and this shade,
Employee: Well your cap will be done in 2 days time, welcome back!

This was a sensible idea and I should have thought of it myself. Attached is a comparison shot. If I had to make a call, I'd think Panzergrenadier.

Thanks to all for the comments.

      >> Updating this post: cap was made in Garmisch-Partenkirchen so was most likely worn by a Jäger officer
