    Justice Visor on Estand

Is this Justice visor with green piping currently listed on e stand original?
Is insignia difficult to find for one?

    #2
Yes, it is 100% original. It needs an M-38 State Eagle in gold, which are hard to find with their original finish intact.

You also need a cockade, which is easy to find.

The really hard part would be finding the correct chincords--these are very hard to find loose (and then you have to find one that is the correct length).

Not in hand yet but I bought it for $320 incl..postage from Poland. I'm happy.
I have the eagle and cockade for it and already own the tunic even...
I won't try finding the chinstrap and golden cap buttons... i'll probably keep it cordless...
      Simple altes model look...I'm stoked!

Thanks. It's mint but was incorrectly restored as WH-GJ...
Was shown before mid October when it looked like this...

Here's the uniform I want to display it with, a 1942 pattern Justice tunic.

and inside look..its prestine! (unissued condition...) Most likely it never had insignia mounted and
was post war incorrecty restored to WH-GJ....so some wreath badge holes now...
(needs just a simple cockade + golden cap eagle!)

and what it's supposed to look like !(image from DougO's Justiz schirmmutze! )
Note moth nip in the piping as it appears when it was dolled up as Gebirgsjaeger...(post#5)

Here's the golden State eagle (as used by post 1942 justice officials on their visor caps), which I was able to obtain through a fellow WAF member

Here's another one for sale on the web. WOW that one is expensive!!! It's not even mint....
For some reason it has a silver (aluminum) eagle...not gold... (pre 1942?)

Price and more images, maker info, etc... in the sales link below!!
(I'm sure the owner won't mind this free plug!)

One must be very careful with this style of cap. The last one shown above, that is to say this style and color combination, was also used by the pre-war Bavarian Landespolizei. Further, they continued to be used wartime and postwar by Prison Wardens (Justiz- and Strafanstalts personnel serving in Gerichtsgefangnis). The devil is in the details to determine who used the cap and during which time period.

Here it is brought back to life, thanks to the help of some fellow WAF members for parts!! No chin straps/cords (yet) ... but very presentable this
                      Justice visor "as is"!

The interior is amazing...pretty much unworn / unissued condition...
Now of curse it has some blemishes (added holes) due to the incorrect Heer wreath application when it was disguising as Heer GJ
Still very happy with it since I have the Model 1942 uniform for it in the same color wool!

Agreed!!! You must be careful with these , as West German ones look the same! The devil is in the details! Look at the visor brim...This modern one probably with a plastic
sweat shield diamond in the liner...

Thanks for the thumbs up guys!
