After the golden age of my youth (now almost half a century ago unfortunately for me ...), eBay has been my only source of supply and fun for 15 years and now the tricks of the sellers are well known to me. In Germany, for example, until a few years ago there was the good de facto rule to start from 1 euro otherwise the auction was deserted by tacit and common agreement. Then the Germans also aligned themselves with the Italian method of starting from a price that guarantees at least a minimum profit and took the bad habit of immediately bringing the objects to a high offer in order to cut out a lot of people and so the market ended. A real cap a week and all the rest is garbage. Old stories already written for years on this forum whose table, however, does not offer more commendable examples about the prices, just as crazy and often even more as eBay, dispelling the legend of the collector to collector. After the time when this stuff was in the garbage dumpsters, it is now full of people who dedicate themselves part-time to their temporary infatuation and then move on to some and maybe more prosaic other interest. In the meantime, they are moving forward with frantic purchases and sales, breaking down everything. Sorry for this long rattle, but in my opinion the situation is this and it is irreversible. Congratulations to the sellers who built their villa and yacht in Montecarlo selling by the heaviest pound their rags (often also placed hypocritically on the politically incorrect index ...) and to the fetishists who support them ...
