                  Nice original cap, hard to say if its GJ or not but the edelweiss if original would seal the deal of it being a GJ. The discussion and use of the various shades of green used during ww2 by the Germans will be a never ending debate. If the edelweiss seems original than its GJ, if not then added on to hump up an admin cap. Matt

                          It does look better now. But it was never worn with those cords and the eagle was moved up to accommodate the flower. That may be a GJ unit stamp under the sweatband though. It's a nice looking cap but there has been some upgrades made, most likely postwar.

                            Lift up the cords and take a photo of the black visor. It may show signs of a former black chin strap or perhaps silver spots indicating that an officer's cord has been on it a long time.

                              the main thing is color fringing. it depends relate it to GJ or not.
