Typical Bundeswehr era sweatband and visor. Trikot fabric doesn't look to be authentic either.

And this one ? Dutch Side buttons not flemish

              http://oakleafmilitaria.com/1206h3.html

1206H3 - Flemish Legion/ Waffen SS old style cloth billed officer crusher cap. This rare cap features lemon yellow crown and capband piping. Yellow piping was worn as a national color of the Flemmish and Wallonie Waffen SS volunteers as this color was incorporated in their respective insignia. Giving further evidence are the two side buttons that secure the officer chincords. The buttons display the Flemish raised lion found on the Armelabzeichen . The capband is black velvet. The cloth covered visor is characteristic of early-war ( circa 1940 ) Waffen SS crusher

These caps are a bloody minefield, and, given their inflated , over-hyped prices, as well as other reasons, I have no interest in owning one.
As others have said, the sweatband and peak look dodgy, and,it seems to me the box could have come from anywhere.

Sorry to step on your toes here, but those types of sweatbands are notably on WW1 caps as well. Just wanted to point that out

Its quite possible that this was converted from a WW1 Hussar visor

It was not only the inlaid detail on the sweatband I was referring to as typical Bundeswehr. I was talking about the type of leather, the dark grey colour and the stirndruckfrei feature. In this combination, that's typical 1950's/60's..

Isnt that type of sweatband French in style??? Ive seen German Navy hats with this style of band, which would make sense with the Brest Navy Yards. I've seen several WWI French Kepis with this style of band.
