    flatwire,FlAtWiRe,FLATWIRE!!!

Things being what they are, I haven't bought anything exciting in awhile. And It's been even longer since I've posted anything on the WAF. I apologize for that.

But here are 3 nice crushers that I purchased a few years ago - all from trusty WAF members no less!

Flatwire badges are one of the things I love best about Heer Alter art offizier feldmutzen. Notice that on all three of these examples the badges (IMO) are of untouched wartime application.

Notice that the panzer adler was hand-finished around the wreath! Typical Deutscher uber-kraftsmanship!

All three with their skycap counterparts. Notice that der drei schirmutzen represent the 3 most common types of insignia combinations found on TR Heer visors.

1.)Artillery (HPC): Metal eagle and bullion wreath.

2.) Infantry (Erel): Bullion eagle and bullion wreath.

3.)Panzer (CW?): Metal eagle and metal wreath - in this case not original to the cap but both in high quality, bright white aluminum! I believe the cap originally carried combination insignia as in #1.
