I have been offered this Kriegsmarine visor.
Obviously, based on the stamp inside it's from Austro-Hungary time (K.u.K.).
Why I found it interesting is the fact that (almost) similar cap is shown on Torpedo Los book by Gordon Williamson, on the page 45.
The text says:
"The first type visor cap worn by officers featured a black lacquered peak made from compressed fiber. No rank distinction was displayed on these caps"
