I was hoping for a photo of the sewing line of the sweatband, or "under the hood" as you guys like to say. That shows the true quality of the repair. Of course it looks great from the outside, but the inside tells wether it is a true undetectible restoration or not.

So, assuming a 15% buyers premium, that's $ 57,500 in total. I realize that to the buyer this is probably small potatoes, but I 'd rather have, say, a nice, driver quality 65-67 small block Corvette coupe.

Speaking of commissions, Ben should have gotten one from the Auction house--I guarantee the hats would not have hit that price without his meticulous restoration work.
