    CW Panzer Officer Visor

Just got this in the mail..
wanted to make sure everything was OK with it.
It looks good to me but I am no expert.
The piping doesn't look as pink as I thought it would.
I have a few pictures with a BAMUFA Artillerie Officer Visor for comparison.

Looks like it was perhaps named.. and that someone scribbled it out.

Thanks for any comments or info.
    -Brian

              Thank you for that.

I really like the shape and construction of this cap.

So the Panzer visor is Gabardine.. and the Artillerie is "Doe Skin wool"?

                  Is Gabardine wool too?

Both are nice visors. Pink 'farbe runs the gamut from a flat, pale pink to a vibrant, almost fluorescent neon-pink--just the result of different dye lots.

The Pz is really a Trikot, which refers to the weave of the fabric--it is ribbed, as compared to the doeskin of the artillery, in which the weave is imperceptible.

I guess I don't really understand the difference between the two. (Tricot vs. Gabardine)

So the pink on the Panzer looks correct? Just comparing it to the Artillerie it doesn't seem that different in shade. What does "carmine" look like?

I just want to make sure everything is good without question, as I only have a few days to return it if I need to...

well I'm home from work now.. and I see that the pink is much more pink than in the artificial light of last night (compact fluorescent).

With you guys' blessings and looking at it now I'm sure it's OK.

                        thanks,
                        Brian

Great cap and at the risk of goring the Erel ox, I think that CW made the best looking caps of any of the big makers.

                              thank you guys!
                              yes, the shape is amazing.
the CW makes the BAMUFA visor look rather frumpy.
although the stirndruckfrei headband in the BAMUFA is surely superior.
