Luftwaffe hat by Carl Bangert Opinions

Looking to buy this Luftwaffe hat. I know Carl Bangert isn't the most common maker so I wanted to hear what you all thought. I have the eagle for it but I see the strap is broken in the front (should be an easy replacement). Any ideas on value too? Seller wants $375 for it.

Not a bad price at all I would think assuming sweatband is all there. Need more photos to be sure. So far so good it seems

I'd save a couple hundred more and buy a nicer cap

This is the cap I have in my collection. The other one I was interested in because it was picked up by a Battle of the Bulge vet with history so I thought that was a nice combination.

I agree, I'd hold out for a quality piece.

However , if you're more interested in provenance I can understand why you would pick this one up.
