EREL LW officers visor

Hello, i just wanted to ask if ALL the EREL luftwaffe officers visors need to have the gromet and the vented cokade???
Or did EREL caps also exsist without the gromet???
Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

no, not all EREL caps have the vented cockade. The vented cockade was a feature that could be added to the cap, but at an extra cost. Hope that helps.

As stated, not all Erel Luftwaffe officer caps had a vented cockade. Mine is a Privat model ( top of the line), and lacks a vented cockade.

They seemed to have been phased out in 1941....
