    Good Evening gentlemen,

    what do you think about this mint RAD (?) M43 cap?
    Maker is Anton Pichler Graz 1945.

      Why do you think its RAD?

      Anton Pichler is a hatmaker who is in business to this day.....

      Here is one M42 that was remade to m43 i used to own...

        Stamp on yours is hard to read, is it identical to mine?

          I dont think you have a RAD cap, its a heer cap with latewar wool.

          Yes, its identical...

          Mine was missing the insignia when it was found..., i found my cap many years ago in an antique shop in stockholm (yes, i know , we never had war here) and i got it for like 5 euros.

          This is the second or third cap i see with this maker....

                  I agree with Daniel, late war M43 made of the brownish hue field grey with later brownish satin/ rayon lining often seen used in M44 tunics ???

                  Either way worth having for the "1945" date if the price is right given there is no insignia,
