Reichsbahn Visor?

I have my doubts about this one... I would like some opinions. Is it missing the Railway wings and were they issued with that type of cord? The piping is a bit dizzying?

This is in fact a postal cap, not reichsbahn. What has happened to the interior, I do not know. Looks like someone tore the lining out?

Nothing wrong with the lack of a lining, I've had a few visors like this. Late war material saving measure perhaps.

Well that would make sense as to why I was confused!

Thanks very much to others for the comment on the lack of liner as well. I was not aware they omitted them later in the war!
